{/PLACEHOLDER/} is an adult interactive visual novel set in a post-modern/cyberpunk world. You will guide the MC through their daily life at work and home as they discover themself through friends, relationships, and an advanced VR game system.

You play as Sky, a thirty year old data analyst working for a massively powerful mega-corporation with unclear motives. Bored with the monotony of their job, Sky often seeks distractions to pass the day more quickly. Once work is over for the day, Sky returns to their rundown apartment to spend time in an elaborate virtual world inside of a highly advanced Virtual Reality system. As you progress through the stages of each day you will encounter various characters and events that help Sky as they explore their gender and sexuality. You will also be trying to unravel the mystery of a mysterious VR plugin system called {/PLACEHOLDER/} and the secretive services they offer to exclusive clientele.

- The MC has the option of two starting models based on their preferred gender path. These choices will offer different events and interactions as the story progresses.

- Gender Exploration options featuring MTF, FTM, Androgynous, and Fluid paths.

- Smut over porn storytelling. I'm a writer, I'm here to write and tell stories. There will be plenty of detailed sex scenes (where desired) however there will be no 3d or 2d animations. At most I will eventually add a nice CG or 2 for specific scenes, but I intend to keep the action to text and keep the novel in visual novel.

- A 'Why choose?' approach to partnership. Multiple romantic and sexual encounter options. Romance or sleep with as many of the characters as you wish as long as you put in the effort.

- Ace/Aro representation and options! Most encounters will have the option to avoid sexual scenes without damaging relationships. I have plans to include an ace supporting character at some point as well.

- No ambiguously aged characters! All the story characters will be at least 18 years old, with nearly all of them being over 25.

- Submissive focused scenes. While I would love to include as many options as possible for the MC's sexual roles and preferences, I do want to keep the scope manageable as this is my first game. I will likely include some verse optional scenes but this particular story is focused on a budding submissive's POV.

- Kink Exploration. I want this to be a kink positive game, and will try to include a variety of options for the player to progress through.

- Demo Release - The first version of the Demo has been launched as of 6/17/2025 you can find it here. I hope to have the updated version available by the end of the year.

- Progressive Updates - I plan to release periodic updates as the story progresses. My goal will be to release a full day whenever possible, but depending on scale releases may be broken up into Work/Home time periods.

- Multiple Endings - My goal is to have multiple Good and Bad endings based on player choices. I will also consider including a secret ending if I can figure out how to pull it off without taking away from the rest of the story.

- Early Access for Supporters - I have already setup the Patreon and Discord for the game. Patrons will get access to releases at least 2 weeks before the public release hits Itch, along with other perks such as behind-the-scenes content and polls.

- Steam Release - I do not have a timeline yet, but I do plan to release the Demo and Game on Steam... eventually. I want to get a few versions of the Demo to players here on Itch first to make sure I know I can manage bugs etc.

- Burnout Insulation - I am trying to keep the project scope to a level of work that I am prepared for and can commit to. I have a day job, and a child, and aside from the art am doing everything myself. I don't want to burn myself out on the project before it is finished, so I will try to keep a release schedule that allows the work to be enjoyable for me while still providing content for supporters as the project evolves.
